Abstract

I am very interested in the ABA services offered for senior citizens that can be put into effect in retirement homes, used by elderly adults, or used by adults who are caring for their elderly relatives (Bailey & Burch, 2006, p. 54-55).

Bailey and Burch mention Skinner’s book Enjoy Old Age: A Practical Guide, in which they say, “suggestions are provided for keeping in touch with the world, improving memory, thinking clearly, keeping busy, and getting along with people.” (Bailey & Burch, 2006, p. 54).

Following Bailey and Burch’s suggestion on page 55, I called several retirement homes to discuss any sort of ABA-related services being provided for the elderly in those communities.
