The Voynich Manuscript

Possibly the most mysterious book known, this manuscript is of unknown origin, unknown authorship, and written in an unknown language.

It contains multiple illustrations of unknown plants and unknown celestial objects and constellations .

 

Codex Gigas “Devil’s Bible”

This is the largest Medieval manuscript still in existence, weighing about 165lbs.

The legend surrounding this book says that it was composed in a single night by a monk who was demon possessed. This impression is increased by the illuminated image of Satan which is 36” by 19” in size.


The Rohonc Codex

Another manuscript in an unknown language of unknown origin, this 448 page book surfaced in Hungary in the 19th century.


De Vermis Mysteriis

Authored by Ludvig Prinn, a 16th century alchemist, this book claims to be repository of ancient spells, alchemical potions, and equations. It contains detailed histories of ancient elder gods, lost rituals, and dark magic practices. The tome supposedly also discusses the summoning of strange creatures and deities.
