Abstract
The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath is possibly the most well-known Lovecraft story that no one reads. But it is also the first in a very little-recognized trilogy. While the trilogy does have its flaws, it accomplishes what no other Lovecraft enterprise ever did: the union of Lovecraft’s entire body of work, and the fullest exposition of the philosophy underlying Cosmic Horror. This is a review.
