Article: Lovecraft’s “The Outsider” Compared to Lovecraft’s “The Tomb”
Abstract:
H.P. Lovecraft’s early story “The Tomb” reflects his original tendency to write on subjects related to mythology and paganism. His story, “The Outsider” reflects his later ascent into Cosmic Horror. The distinction between the two is that they are the same tale told in reverse. This paper expands on this and demonstrates how.
