Abstract

The nature of brain injuries is a complicated thing, and the effects of brain injuries cannot be overstated in their potential to complicate, damage, and decimate the individual and social groups within which the individual moves.

This literature review summarizes the information about Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in terms of occurrence, diagnosis, effects, and treatment from two of the best books in the field: The Essential Brian Injury Guide (Fahel & Abashian, 2019), and Working with Traumatic Brain Injury in Schools (Jantz, Davies, & Bigler, 2014).
